Dr. Elizabeth Wamera has over two decades of dedicated experience in Development Work. Her profound passion lies in witnessing the tangible impact of her contributions to the well-being of families through improved Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices. For Dr. Wamera, WASH represents an essential human right that transcends borders and cultures, aligning perfectly with Mahatma Gandhi’s sentiment that “Sanitation is more important than Independence.” Her focus spans a diverse spectrum, including Sectoral Advocacy, International Lobbying, Technical Capacity Building, Gender Mainstreaming, Strategic Planning, and Resource Mobilization. Her commitment to Equality and Non-Discrimination (LNOB) is a testament to her unwavering dedication to inclusivity. Dr. Elizabeth is the advocacy and Communications Manager at the Stop TB partnership, a collective force leading the way to a world without tuberculosis. As a Board Member, her extensive experience in addressing complex global public health challenges enriches our organization’s vision and direction.
