Women’s Economic Dignity Initiative (WEDI)
Enabling widows and women-led households to build livelihoods anchored in land, autonomy, and equity.
WEDI supports women especially widows, caregivers of incarcerated persons, and survivors of land dispossession to reclaim their right to economic security through legal empowerment, land rights, and sustainable income generation.
Key Components:
- Legal aid and case support on land inheritance, succession, and property ownership
- Business start-up support, microgrants, and savings schemes for widows and women-led cooperatives
- Training in financial literacy, digital tools, and climate-smart income activities
- Advocacy for gender-sensitive economic policies and equitable access to government enterprise funds

To dismantle economic exclusion and empower women with the tools to sustain their families, assert their rights, and lead local development.
Restorative Livelihoods for Justice-Affected Communities (ReLive)
Breaking the cycle of poverty, punishment, and exclusion for people impacted by the criminal justice system.
ReLive offers holistic economic empowerment and reintegration pathways for individuals especially youth and women who have been incarcerated or marginalized due to drug-related offenses and systemic poverty.
Key Components:
- Livelihood training and small business grants for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families
- Vocational support for youth exiting crime or drug economies
- Trauma-informed psychosocial support and mentorship to rebuild identity and stability
- Engagement with local duty bearers to reduce barriers to economic reintegration (e.g., documentation, licensing, stigma)

To restore dignity, purpose, and opportunity to communities devastated by criminalization and systemic neglect.
