Youth for Regeneration Movement (Y4R)

Mobilizing youth as frontline defenders of ecological restoration and climate justice.

Y4R invests in youth-led climate action, linking environmental restoration with economic opportunity and civic activism.

Key Components:

  • Tree-planting brigades, climate-smart agriculture, and permaculture training
  • Climate storytelling through art, sport, and digital advocacy
  • Launching youth eco-entrepreneurship hubs and environmental organizing networks

To build a movement of empowered, organized, and economically resilient youth climate leaders across Kenya.

Cannabis for Climate & Commons (C4CC)

Harnessing cannabis legalization as a tool for climate justice and community-controlled economies.

C4CC reframes cannabis not as a criminal threat—but as a climate-resilient, community-beneficial crop. It explores policy, cultivation, and cooperative models for sustainable livelihoods.

Key Actions:

  • Advocacy for equitable, rights-based cannabis regulation
  • Piloting community-run cannabis farms using regenerative agriculture principles
  • Supporting youth and women-led cooperatives to enter the legal green economy

To position cannabis legalization as a strategic lever for ecological restoration, economic justice, and drug policy transformation.

Climate Resilience & Return Project (CRRP)

Protecting the dignity and rights of climate-displaced communities.

CRRP supports communities facing forced displacement due to floods, drought, and ecological degradation. It ensures legal redress, safe resettlement, and policy recognition of climate displacement.

Key Actions:

  • Mapping displacement patterns and rights violations in vulnerable zones
  • Providing legal aid and paralegal casework for housing, land claims, and relocation support
  • Advocating for a national legal framework to recognize and protect environmentally displaced persons

To secure legal and policy protections for displaced populations and embed justice in climate response planning.
